We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of our cutting-edge construction management software. This is a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic startup focused on moving construction into the AI era.

You will be a product minded engineer that loves the details and also has a practical interest in solving real world problems. We are a new startup with a small team, so you will be adding immediate value to our product from day one. We have product market fit and are profitable. We work with the largest property developer in New Zealand and have built a unique product that combines a highly-polished UX with an innovative and data-driven approach to construction.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high-performance and highly-polished user interfaces using React and TypeScript. You’ll be obsessed with the value of high quality and interface design
• Collaborate with the design lead, CTO and CEO to understand core business requirements and opportunities to delight the customer beyond reason
• Love writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code for the frontend and backend components of our application
• Leverage your expertise in JavaScript, TypeScript, and DOM manipulation to build a snappy and interaction-rich user experience
• Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and continuous improvement of our development processes

Requirements:

• Proven experience in frontend development using modern React and TypeScript
• Strong understanding of JavaScript fundamentals and TypeScript
• Proficient in semantic HTML, modern CSS techniques, and CSS frameworks/methodologies (e.g. Tailwind)
• Familiarity with responsive web design principles and building accessible user interfaces
